suppose a large aquarium 600g+ was chosen to house only predatory species.

what predators could be kept together without them themselves being preyed upon.

the types im talking about are the aquarium type predators not the huge greats of the ocean but the ones like
    rays
    eels
    lion fish
    sharks
    stone fish
    etc

how would everything go and what mixes could be possible

Interesting question, looking at the compatibility chart on Live Aquaria: Marine Compatability Chart, you could believe that Lg. Angles, Tangs, Lions, Puffers, Eels, Boxfish.... could all be kept together.

But from what I have read, this is true only as long as each fish is not capable of getting a smaller one in its mouth, if it could, it would eat it....

Other comments I've read indicate that if you keep the tank well fed, there is less of a tendency for them to want to eat each other...
