    Every Dorm my friends have lived in across the US didn't allow it, though some didn't enforce it :lol: Guess times have changed ;) It's been a while since Greg and I had friends in college dorm rooms, well, at least for me.

    I thought at one time all the UC's here in Cali didn't allow it, but I just saw this: UC Santa Cruz - Frequently Asked Questions 10g or under for UCSC

    Cool, just do it! I'd go with a salt pico. Some Zoas and mushrooms and a cleaner shrimp. You could get away with minimal maintenance. Basically just top off for the most part.

    UCSC, I almost went there. I just couln't see running track for a school with the mascott the Banana Slugs!

    Hey, it's the FIGHTING BANANA SLUGS.... and track, soccer and tennis are pretty much the only sports there... beside Ultimate Frisbee and hacky sack :D

    I could possibly rig up a cheap pico tank. But would tap water be OK for coral?
