So it has been like 10 weeks of perfect water (including mg cal and alk) with no coralline sighted and more importantly, not even a lick of growth on any of my SPS corals...

So i changed my t5 bulbs.

Within 1 day of doing so i have seen both coralline and SPS growth on my monti.

A picture for all you freaks... haha

Most of the coraline that is growing is marroon color

Actually, I am not too sure that is coralline. With the bubbles, it kind of looks like Cyano. A good way to test is to take a turkey baster and see if you can blow it off. If it comes off, it is Cyano - if not, then it is coralline. Just a quick way to check. If it's coralline - CONGRATS!! And on the new growth on the SPS

Maybe that little spot that is circled is coraline, but I would agree that the rest is cyano or some other algae, but not coraline, it wouldn't start that fast.
