Pretty sure this crab is bad but just checking...

    Like the title says just making sure this crab is a baddy. Not sure if you can tell by the pic but he looks like hes hairy too. That is half a silverside so you can judge size kind of.

    I'm going to go with a gorilla crab. Generally hairy with shiny and pointed black pinchers means a bad crab. I'd get rid of it.

    It is bad(hence the pointed pincher), get rid of it. Looks like a giant spider. haha

    That little guy is really cool looking though. Where did you get it, or did it hitchhike it's way into your tank? Wish you were closer to me in PA. My daughter would love to keep it in a small tank in her critter room.

    He was a hitchhiker that I have been trying to get out for a while. I was trying to lure and snatch for a little bit then gave up. He then grabbed small rocks and barricaded the hole I was trying to go through and dug out another hole for himself for get out lol. I guess I will just toss em in the fuge/sump area of the the system. For a two hour ride we would have to make it worth more then a little pe(s)t crab lol.

    I used to just crush these guys, and feed the remains to my shrimp.
