Preventing sump overflow

    On my 90gal setup I have a 40gal sump/refuge with room for error. Not only is my returned drilled, I have a clear union check valve, air gapped and leak sensors that is connected to my security system and monitored 24hrs.

    Why would you need drilled holes if you have an air gap?

    First off i never said "holes". It is one hole that the All-Glass overflow setup was already drilled from mfg.
