I hope this is right area for this topic. I suppose im new to what its worth:confused:. And i posted this in another thread but didn't seem to post. So i apologize if it double post.

Okay i have had this tank for 1.5 years now and i love fish, etc but im leaving to Europe and with College going Ive been loosing time on taking care of them. So i think its time to let it go, would rather see them live somewhere else then die slowly.

What do you think i should sell this for as a set? Sorry dont know brand names off top of head.
55 Gallon glass tank, with canopy (some crappy wood)
100 Gallon UV sterilizer - 2 months old
90 Gallon Sump filter - 2 months old
100 Gallon Protein Skimmer -15 days old
65x4 compact lighting - 1 year old but lights 3 months
    55x2 t5 -2 months old
85lbs of live rock (the $5.99 pound stuff not expensive stuff)
Yellow Tang 6", 2 Clowns, 2 Cleaner Wrese, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 diamon golby, 1 other golby, and some other corals (not many about 9 that are smaller)

Thank you guys for the help, and support over the year. I hope to start back up when i have time.

It's really hard to say, I've seen setups with similar items go for $500-600 dollars on Craigslist. You won't get near what you paid for it, that sucks. I'm kinda of shocked you have a 90 gal. sump on a 55. Never seen one that big on a tank that size. Was it a tank or something specifically to be a sump? You could offer to help move the setup and reset it up. That may help a purchaser be more willing to buy.

tank stand and sump 150-200(the sump may or may not sell due to size)
    lighting 100-125 for both
need to know the skimmers brand to make the call on that
    rock 100 dollars
    livestock around a 100 dollars

alot of these calls kind of cheap because of the economy, alot more people are selling stuff now and alot more people have less money. depending on the availability in your area the rock may fetch 2 dollars a lb.

so basically i priced this stuff to move rather quickly

Also something to keep in mind. You could just sell the livestock and store the more expensive equipment. Cheaper startup upon your return.

As far as I know Porky bubs, he started around last summer or so, I hate to hear that you are leaving, and getting shed of your tank, really did enjoy the video you made, and everything looked pretty good. anyway I wish you luck selling the stuff and also moving to Europe. Sure like to buy the cleaner Wrasser, and some of the LR.
Put up some pics!?! maybe you get someone near you interested, where about are you?

Do you have a LFS that would take some of your equipment and sell it on consignment? We have two locally that will do that, but then you don't get the $$$ until they sell it. Just a thought. Good luck!
