princess parrotfish and niger trigger mating?

    my red tooth niger trigger, and princess parrot, which ive had both for about a month have started to act really weird, they are almost always right beside each other, they rub against each other, and they mostly lay on the bottom on top of each other

    Very unusual! I had a Niger (Mr. Plum) for 7 years and from time to time he would "buddy up" to a fish here and there. Nothing like you are descibing. It almost reminds me of a cleaner fish and a host.

    yea thats what i thought at first but its defanately not cleaner/host relationship, can other breeds of fish pair up? is that what they are doing? are they just confused? lol
