    Hi,

    I just was wondering if the pro clear wet dry 150 for a 55g saltwater tank is a good one. Also, if I remove the bio balls and add lv would the cycle restart again?

    What is the Pro-Clear 150 rated for? Remember that you need to take into consideration your whole system. Tank, sump and refug if you have any of those. As far as exchanging the BB for LR, you stand a good chance of starting a mini cycle. Remember the the Bacteria is also in your LS and LR thats in your DT.

    How many Gallons is it rated for?
    A sump and a W/D are similar, but not the same.
    DT= Display Tank

    A sump is usually a tank that has enough space to hold a skimmer, return pump(RP), heater and any other equipment that one doesnt want to be seen.

    A W/D is the same with the addition of a pre-filter pad, felt pad or a sponge to catch any floating debris. A tray for some Carbon and a space for Bio Balls(BB) or Live Rock(LR)
