I found this somewhere else but it works great! By cutting nori into little strips it allows all your fish to get a little nori and take it with them.

In my tank, my tomani is low fish on the totem pole, and with a full sheet, the black tang and oddly enough meluranus wrasse dominate the nori clip tear off what they want. Occasionally a huge chunk with float off to rot in the corner.

With this system of feeding, i spend 10 second with a pair of scissors and every fish will get a bit of nori and none of it is wasted!

I do basically that, but I have always gone all the way cutting it up and adding it to my food. Then some invariably gets wasted. I love this idea! Thanks Ingtar!

Ive found this give the timid fish a little bit of time to get a strip and take it away from the clip.

I was tearing it up and mixing it with flakes pellets mysis and Selcon but I want to promote grazing habits too. Sometimes I feel the tangs are getting lazy and just follow me around the room waiting for the Sky God to give their mortal bodies sustenance.

Don't you love when you walk to the tank...

Sailfin Tang: "He's coming everyone come quick"
Yellow Tang: "Does he have the red solo cup?"
Smaller fish: "he has the cup he has the cup"
Sailfin Tang: "OK, Everyone, RELEASE THE POOP, new food is coming"

lol. All my fish keep an eye on the meluranus wrasse he can see me from adjoining rooms coming. When he gets excited they all tail him.

    LMAO!

Pretty cool that they recognize the food container and gather where you usually drop it in. Even my crabs, hermits and shrimp scurry to the front on the substrate where missed food settles. And to think they're supposed to be dumb animals with an extremely short memory span and are stressed nearly to death by confined life. I'd say most adapt quite well. :)

Excellent tip, Ingtar! Thanks for sharing.
