Probably asked a hundred times (Food question for BTA)

Is frozen shrimp from the store acceptable to feed my BTA after it has thawed? If not, or not recommended, what food(s) should I be feeding him? Thanks for helping out a newbie

 

should be ok... but it depends on the type to make sure it gets the most nutrients it can

 

I like to soak my supermarket shrimp in a r/o water, garlic, selcon, marine snow, and reef plus (vitamins and amino acids) mixture. I also toss in some brine and/or mysis to thaw in that for some of my other corals / fish.

I use it. I just thaw it under running tap water and peel it. I think a whole shrimp is too large so I rip it into two pieces. I feed maybe one piece a week.

 

Yup, i use the raw shrimp, i just buy a bag, it also goes into my home made food!

 

Ok, so just so I am clear and not about to kill my anemone, raw shrimp is a green light? I bought some raw shrimp tonight at the store, but want to be 100% sure its a-ok.
