Problem with skunk cleaner shrimp

    There isn't really any predators in this tank. (other than the possible hermit).
    Tank is about 8, almost 9 months old.
    I started with all base rock, and Ive carefully added my corals. Definitely not a mantis shrimp.

    I will try removing it and trying again.. Perhaps he is the culprit.

    If things started to disappear or die after u added crabzilla... I bet your paycheck he's dining on shrimp.

    Do u have a sump or refugium to temporarily move him to while u try a new shrimp?

    Possible your getting bad molts in your tank for some reason. crustaceans don't always survive an incomplete molt.

    I had the same problem with my peppermint shrimps. Turns out I had a shrimp eating bubble tip anemone!

    Low levels of iodine perhaps?
