i just installed a proclear 150 wetdry w/ skimmer in my 55 gallon this is the 2nd week that i have it set up i also have the emperor 400 still running, wondering if i can take out the filter pads on the emperor or should i leave it running for another couple of weeks, i have about 50lbs of lr and 55lbs of ls and all of my water parimeters are good except for nitrate at 20 but all others are great

Most cycles take at least 6 weeks before bacteria is established. I would wait that long to be sure bacteria is established in the new filter. If you have room somewhere in the new wet dry you could move the filter pads in there.
