So I went to the pet store (not LFS, just needed something cheapy) and picked up a 1g tank. Has a cute little light and airstone as well as undergravel filter. This is currently housing my recent brine purchase. There's no gravel and I didn't hook up the UGF, just the airstone. I added 1 gallon of DT water to it and made a gallon of fresh for the DT. I added a couple of small rocks and a hand full of sand (just so I didn't have to worry about a cycle in the brine tank) and off she went. The brine are flipping and flapping everywhere. I have to pick up a cheap heater to put in there so they don't freeze int he house. I'm thinking that I can possibly raise copepods in there as well? Can this be done at the same time?

So I'm having great success with the cyclop-eeze and brine for the tank. Everyone is happy and I feel like live food may be more beneficial because it doesn't sink into a crack and rot somewhere. I've been turning off the powerheads for like 30 minutes while feeding as well. I've since unplugged my canister filter so it doesn't suck up all the skrimpiez!

Yeah I have no idea how much they benefit my bigger fish.....being so small. They absolutely love it though!

    What is FTS?

Nope, no Fiji purple. It was the camera just catching the 420nm actinics. Hasn't caught them like that since though :(

Who knows. I have to sit and look through the manual sometime, LMAO!!

Thanks Steve :) New to it but I'll get there. Hopefully no fatalities on the way!
