Of all colors in the tank purple is my least favorite. I attribute this to all the purple coraline on the rocks. But for $15, I wanted to get it and put it very close to my green slimer. I'm going a Joker kinda look. :)

Hunter, its funny you say that as I did a little research today on the Hoeks, the only thing that makes me think that he called it that is the green inside the coralite on the tips, as that is hoek feature. But the rest of it doesnt look anything like any other hoeks I saw when researching.....but yes, like you said, who cares?! :p

    It's pretty tenius-like, if it actually isn't.

Chris, when are you going to come to Charlotte to visit? You bring the frags (and the camera!), I'll supply the steaks and beer? ;D

Corals look amazing as always. What skimmer are you running? And when you say you feed "heavily", what does that mean? Can you specify your feeding habits in measurements? I know, I know...I'm a pain in the ass, but I've been running EcoBak for 6+ months now, and have seen nothing but 'less than good' results (coming from Vodka/Vinegar). I'm on the cusp of dumping them again and going back to the vodka method. Just such a hassle with my work schedule, having to dose it daily.

    Thanks!

I am running a SWC 230 cone skimmer.

Fish: 3 pinches of Pellets and flakes around noon from my wife. At 5pm I feed some nori on the clip. At 6-7pm I feed a mixture of frozen cyclopeze, 2 various cubes of frozen, mysis, and rods fish eggs.

Coral: 10pm when the lights have gone out. I broadcast feed a mixture of oyster feast, cyclopeze, warner marine amino, and reef chili.
