Progression of my 90 Bowfront

I would replace the Aquablue and Purple Plus with Blue Pluses if you plan on using 6 bulbs. I would also suggest cutting back to 4 bulbs using 2 Blue Plus and 2 Coral Plus.

 

I just bought the purple plus bulb, and am kind of regretting it. And I definitely plan on using all 6 bulbs, only because my tank is 28 inches tall, and am wanting to use some lower to mid placement for some SPS.

 

You should be fine with 6 with that deep of a tank. I suggest placing the bulbs BP, CP, BP, BP, CP, BP. If this is too blue swap each CP with the BP in front of it. What brand fixture do you have?

I'll have to save up a few bucks before I can order the new bulbs. But right now when the daylights go out and the 2 bulbs that are left for the night mode, I am running one BP and the PP. I think I'll switch it to where it is 2 BP's only.
