Im currently using a mag9 and it comes in at roughly 760GPH after 4ft trip up, I was planning on just using it on my new 90g that i'd be using the bean animal overflow approach with 1inch bulkheads. I think they would be able to match my current return but if I were to ever upgrade say to a mag12 or 18 would that be too much for the 1inchs? Would be any problem in using 1.5inch bulkheads instead, even if I werent to upgrade to a stronger return pump in the future?

If you're talking about drains then you want 1.5". For the return 1" is acceptable, but if you can go bigger (1.5") then do so. The larger the pipe on the return, the less head pressure you get.

Yeah my post was a bit confusing, sorry. So for my overflow 1.5 inch holes and pipes will be fine even if I were to upgrade to a stronger pump, something with 1200GPH or 1800?

A 1.5" pipe/bulkhead should easily be able to handle 1200-1500 gph. 1800 might be pushing it, but you shouldn't need to go that high on a 90. I've had a 90 before and it had a 1.5" drain and 1" return. Worked like a charm.
