Get two guns, one not registerd to plant on the perp. That way you can tell the police he pointed it at you

I got a taser for my birthday its pink lol :)

Anything you do would have to be within reason, I remember a news story that a guy broke in to someones house and sued for stepping on a knife, I dont think he won, but it was pretty ridiculous.

Was that the story about the guy falling through the skylight and landed on a knife cutting his leg?

I believe the real case was a highschool kid was stealing flood lights from the school at night. He was walking across the gym roof and fell through a skylight and became a quadriplegic. The kid successfully sued the school for roughly a million dollars.

You wouldn't even need another gun. Just put a steak knife in the guy's hand.

Here's proof you could get sued for shooting a burglar:

Yeah, that's what I thought they were referencing. The actual story was the kid falling through the skylight of his school and winning the lawsuit.

That would be a good idea, im going to buy me a new 12guage now lol. My dad has one but he uses it for hunting(so do i) but it has a scope so you pretty much have to aim(rifle barrel, i know kinda stupid to put a scope on a shotgun). Could you shoot them with a bow, or would they say that is inhumane?

they would probably count it the same as a gun, since its not counted as "non lethal" weapon. maybe if you have arrow with blunted tip.
