proteen skimer need help badyl

well i know i sound a bit dumb here but i realy am haveing big problems i got a deltec multi external hang on skimmer mce600
the guy in shop said it would be eazy to fit boy was he rong i put it on np started it up np then the fome came like mad and even tho i fidle with the air intake it ether fomes to much and fills up the over flow in secounds with CLEEN fome so i turn down the air then it dose not fome atall its a mareen tank 4ft times 1.1/2ft times 2ft i have about 4 fish in there and a algy problem hence the skimmer am i just dumb or is there some reason for this and one more thing the out flow is so fast it puts more fome in the tank than in the skimmer please help if you can im in a real fix

 

Well, for one thing dj, you're in the wrong forum. Try asking in the skimmer section.
