Protein Skimmer broke

    So I came home today and noticed that my sump was noticeably quieter. I opened the cabinet and noticed that my skimmer was only half way full. I inspected further and noticed that the skimmer has completely cracked around the fitting to connect to the pump and is basically trashed. I will have to order a new skimmer for my 210 this upcoming week. My question is, how long is the tank going to make it with out my skimmer running??

    from what i know the aquarium world is divided when it comes to skimmer, some swear by it, some swear at it.... if you have enough live rock, other filtration systems and you are thorough with your water changes then you will be alright without one in my opinion....do i use a skimmer? .....yes.....
