Protein Skimmer for a 20 Long

    I just set up my first saltwater aquarium and didnt know if a protein skimmer was necessary for my 20 Long as long as i do routine water changes. If so what are your recommendations. I would prefer something somewhat quiet...

    check out a remora I use one for my mantis tank and its a 20 long.

    get the sea clone!!! It would be the perfect size!!As it is rated for 100 gallons and barly skims 20!!(just kidding....someday I'll get a better one);D

    What do you have in this tank? Corals? Fish? Fish and live rocks?

    as of now i have fish, live rock, some snails and hermits. i plan to add some coral later on down the road...

    I would look into the Aqua C remora nano, that skimmer would be perfect for you!
