    Thanks for the help. I'm probably going to go with either the Octopus 100 or the AquaC Remora. Any opinions on the two, they both have good reviews.

    you could probably put a seaclone on a septic tank and have it not work. That's how low quality they are.

    a good skimmer will lessen your water changes and keep nitrates down.

    I have a octopus bh 100f on my 26 bowfront, it works well(though not as well as a in sump model, I don't think any hobs compares to in sump though). The only thing about is, it was tough to figure out how to start. although I can do it now easily.
