Hey Ya'll! I just figured out my bubble problem from my protein skimmer! I was getting a huge amount of micro bubbles. I took the whole thing and set the intake and return into my Emperor Bio-wheel filter and it really lessened the bubbles! Is this ok to do?? Any suggestions?

    Seaclone skimmers do stink!!!
You wouldn't really get much benefit from having the skimmer flow into an Emperor hang-on IMO.
Best advice is to invest in a better skimmer!

someone stop me from buying junk!

I told my husband today....Back in 2002, when we set it up, to invest in a good one. He always wants to go cheap. My LFS was really trying to help me, so, they "Hooked" me up with a ViaAqua(pos), for $149.00. Well, it worked for about a month then messed up, so I kep figiting with it for the next 4 years, then I bought anlther pos for $69.00. I can't even remember what the name was but I did ask about it on here and then I went and bought another poc SeaClone for $99.00. I could have had a pretty descent one, had I purchased it in the beginning and it would still be sucking out gunk.......unlike the POS's I've been buying........."You get what you pay for!" Everyone in the tank still happy!!!
