    Hello,
Is there such a thing as an inline protein skimmer? I want to upgrade to a sump but not yet… Also, if an inline protein skimmer is available, how many bubbles are introduced into the aquarium?

    Thanks,
    Zak

    welcome to 3reef!

You can also check out the Coralife skimmers, good product and very well priced.

i think i'm the only one around having good luck with a prism lol.not many others like prism for some reason ,they are noisy.i had to adjust mine every day till i added a sump.you can find them for around $80 i think.mines been running since 2002.i know i would never ever buy a skilter again.thats all i have experience with.i think all hob skimmers have at least a small amout of bubbles.as far as inline skimmers,i know theirs some that you can put in the sump that the sumps water pump will run it,but i think you need a sump to put it in.sorry. welcome to 3reef

Thanks for the quick responses and the welcomes. I must ask a bit more. :) When I said inline I meant (not sump) and (not hang on tank). I am looking for something to run inline with my filter.
I probably am confused but the AquaC Remora is hang on, is it not? Where is a good spot to see Coralife skimmers? There are many sites out there but I cannot find an official site?

This is the closest thing I can find. Not a real pretty situation:
Sump-less Kit for Terminator II Skimmer

    Thanks,
    Zak
