i just put a sea clone 100 protein skimmer in my 26 gallion last night it told me to let it run with the air valve closed for 24 hours so i did that and i turn it 1/2 turn like it said but its putting alot of tiny bubbles in the tank from my reading and research i think this is bad does anybody have an idea how to get rid of the tiny bubbles thankx

the flow into the skimmer has to match the skimmer, so make sure you have the right pump, for starters.
the air valve might have to be replaced for more micro adjustment. it sounds like the water level is low inside the skimmer. if you run the skimmer with the air valve closed it defeats the purpose of the skimmer. adjust the the outflow to your desired skimmate either wet or dry.

dern I hope you didn't pay too much for it I have a SeaClone and a Jebo sitting here...I could have given it to to prove they don't work sorry MHO you should have gone with the AquaC Remora and saved some $$ I NEVER could get mine to stop filling the cup up with water......

SeaClones are terrible from what I have heard as I have never heard anything good about them...You may want to check out one of the other ideal and better skimmers on the market...

In order to reduce the bubbles going back into your tank, turn the air adjustment screw out a half turn at a time until they stop. Then you know you're close and it's time to start making REALLY small adjustments. Having said that, the stock SeaClone is very touchy and will never work very well in it's stock configuration. There are a nunch of mods you can do to make it an OK skimmer but it still won't work as efficiently or consistently as a Remora. I think they are fine in a fish-only tank but that's about it.
