Protein Skimmer

I have a 120 gallon Dt and a 55 gallon sump and was looking for a skimmer that could handle a aggressive tank bio load. I wanted the price range around $300. I was looking at octopus skimmers and swc skimmers. Any ideas on what skimmer would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

Both are good. I have an octopus rated at 150 gallons. ASM has some good skimmers also.

 

heard anything good about vertex in 180's because i also found that.

 

i'd steer you to swc

could that skimmer handle the bioload of the system well enough? I am thinking of having agressive fish so i want to make sure the skimmer is big enough.

I think i have narrowed down my skimmer search to these 2 octopus skimmers and was wondering what the difference is between them and which would be better.
