    OK how do you know you need one? I have to awesome that what it removes you cant see in your tank. Also while we are here 125gallon tank hand full of meduim size fish someday fully stocked with corals what skimmers do you suggest. Was looking at the reef octo-BH2000. Thanks in advance.

    Hope you're doing a lot of water changes without a skimmer. How much live rock do you have? You want one bigger than you need.

    Reef Octos are very good for the money and lots of people have them.

    Do you have a sump?

    If so then a NWB-150 or NWB-200 would be good choices IMHO. I run the NWB-200 on my 160 gallon system and love it.
