protien skimmer broke

    Hi, im new ti reefing, have a question what can i use that is safe to glue the top of my protien skimmer back on it is exposed to the water. I didnt want to screw up and use something that can be toxic to my reef..

    super glue. I use super glue to glue frags to rock in the water. good luck.

    +1 on the superglue. I use it in my tank all the time.

    I never heard of anyone using gorilla glue, usually super glue is the glue of choice in this hobby. With aqua bond too for fragging!

    I've read that gorilla glue is safe if it cures, but don't put it when its gell in the water

    Gorilla glue is too messy for your task.

    I suggest super glue as suggested or PVC cement. Both are safe if dipped in the water (I have done it many times in the past). I glue corals with super glue and right back into the water before dried. PVC cement I dripped in the water a lot over the years – just pools on the surface….no issues. Both of these will serve you well. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
