It isn't overkill, it is where you need to be. Maybe borderline. However, I gave you a list based on your budget. For the price of the I-Tech.... I can give you a another list. You can get some very good skimmers for $500 for a 90g.

Thanks again Powerman it seems like a great unit just want sure it was to much but I'm in the learning curve....LOL Any Hoo I was not quite sure what all parts are included is everything i need in that package he provided?

I was able to PM ReefBruh who has one on his 225g and he says he loves it... I remember you mentioned it is better to buy a good one if not it may get costly having to replace.

Again thank you guys for the help and continued support it is appreciated...

For a 90 it will be cramped.... skimmers can fit in 11", but they are usually longer then... so it depends on how wide the skimmer section is...11"x14" or a 11x111?

Not sure i will be going to see it tomorrow here is a pic:

________Fish tank acrylic Refugium, sump FOR SALE________

In refrence to the PS here is what i would like if i may quote you

" I'm looking for quiet operation, and constant long term performance, at the lowest possible price."

What would you suggest for that price range as far as a PS we value your opinion and feedback.

Don't bother, it is not configured very well at all. The small chamber has to be return, so the middle has to be fuge and the other has to be skimmer. Don't really care for how the baffles direct flow.

Sumps are easy to make... just fing a used aquarium and dbaffle in some panes of glass. Easy peasy.

As far as the skimmer... It would be pretty hard to beat a SRO XP cone skimmer for price and performance. A 1000 would be good... a 2000 would be better ... but you have to run it on the 40g and that would not work so well.

Get anything that runs the new Sicce pumps... probably SWC.

PM Warner Marine here and see what they have. He is putting out a new line of skimmers... not sure when or if they still have their AS line. Definitely check in with him though.

Quiet is pretty subjective... very quiet cost a lot... Bubble King... ATB would be awesome... ATB 840. I would not have a problem buying a used one.

I-techs are nice... don't really have a problem with them... they have good numbers, just that some of their fans are a little over the top. But include them too still a decent product. The Tunze pump is what is nice, but that is premium and costs.
