As you can tell in the image with the puffer the corals/gorgonians/sponges are all fake.

I was explaining the lighting to the spouse and how it probably would not support corals, he responds " Well what about the corals growing in the tank" such a disappointment. :)

Anywho you can tell it's very new but is a joy to have an actual aquarium open here in the desert. Of course it's easy to back seat coach the design and technique and the habitats, with that said I am applying to volunteer and see what it turns into.

    Image of fake corals!!!!!!!!

They have a Garden Eel exhibit, Blue Spotted Jaw Fish and a Morish Idol.

Thank you Anya, I did very much. I have been waiting a year for it to open and I was the second group to ever go in.

Very cool Cheryl, and also awesome that you applied to volunteer! That would actually be a good test for my wife, to see if she would think they were real or fake :)

My spouse would never make that mistake. You need to train him better!

    Thank you Marshall.

I hope she passed or is on the way to that refined hobbyist eye. ;D

Seven years, the tank is in the living room not 10 feet from where his computer is, 4 feet from the TV, nope not going to happen.

It works in my favor though, I tell him I bought a rock or plant and it's all good. ::)

Puffers always smile after killing your favorite or most expensive fish.

Yeap that was the spouses favorite fish. :)

    That and the seahorses.

Here is the web sight. They show inverts on the sight, so maybe in the future. Also it is meant to reflect the Sea of Cortz habitat.
