Puffer Chick's 20G Nano

Yeah it looks cool, if I hadn't found the Pukani rock 1st I would've bought the FBR. The Pukani has more holes/open space in the rock, is the same kind gotosleep has. I got lucky and stumbled across it and thought it was cool.

 

pukani sounds pretty nice when i set up another tank in the future im never going to go with fiji again i hate it

 

Hehehehe....I hear you...I have 2 pieces and are rather chunky and not as nice as the pukani but I was lucky to find some that at least had ledges and sm caves & holes in it....but would still prefer something else....also I think the Fiji LR has more undesirable hitch hikers on it than the other.

 

yea i hate fiji, thankfully i didnt have any hitchikers on my rock except for a few clams

 

Lucky you ...clams are good hitch hikers though IMO..and if u didn't want them puffer food

some updates

the flower pot is doing MUCH better in this tank than the reef, probably not doing as well as it could be but huge improvment i feed it phyto twice a week. And puff is invert and coral safe

Adds some nice color to Puff's tank too. Like it against the black sand.

 

thanks! id like to add more coral in there now but with my lighting i really cant add anything that feeds off of light maybe try some zoas or shrooms but i think thats all that can grow under a T8 12k single bulb
