    so with 3reef being slow tonight i decided to FINALLY test my parameters as i noticed i have a small cyano build up not much, just two little patches. And according to my API booklet everything is in normal range, and i will be doing my weekly 5 gallon water change tomorrow.

    the results:
    ammonia: 0
    nitrite: 0
    calcium: 440
    Akalinity: 143.2
    Phosphate:0

    so other than having an extremely dirty glass from me not cleaning it because my mag float scratches my tank everything is looking good

    my second chromis is alive, i just saw it pop out of the rocks, but its not coming out to eat, so its still a very strong chance that its ging to die

    oh yea, i think i finally have my skimmer working right i just cleaned it today and its finally foaming and collecting skimmate, now the real test is will the water level rise in the collection cup, the skimmer seems to have no problem collecting skimmate but the water level is a very TINY amount and does not go past that water line, so i pushed my collection cup a bit further down to see if theres any difference but so far its already foaming and collecting some skimmate, so time will tell
