How long has he been white Puffer? I know they can turn white from a lack of algae in their diet, do you supplement him with anything?

Btw, congrats on the skimmer working properly....FINALLY lol

 

ive had him for like a month now i think, i have noticed the color change and just figured it was normal so i say he's been this way for a couple of weeks, he's always picking at the rocks, i have no algae so he's been eating something, same with the shrimp and urchin

and i dont give my inverts supplements, when one of my chromis died i left him in there for the inverts and the crab was eating at it and he and my cleaner shrimp eat what they cant get when i feed if it stays on the sand long enough, ive noticed he loves bloodworms
and yea its sooooo nice to have skimmate!

 

If you think that skimmate is nasty, you're in for a big surprise some day

I'll double that once you have thick, green, opaque skimmate like I usually do
