I know its a bit late now, but i've heard that chromis pecking order happens if they aren't well feed upon introduction. (3ish meals a day). Take it for what its worth, just what i heard.

And if the chromis is still beating up the wrasse, make a decision before you lose it. :)
The cost of inaction is most likely going to be greater than the cost of action.

yea deffiently knew about the pecking order but diddnt find out about the mulitple feedings until after they all died, it only took the 4 chromis a whole 2 days to die

and i wish i can toss him in my puffer's tank now, but i dont have the base rock yet, so i will have to wait a few more days, hopefully by this weekend he wil be with him puffer and either be his meal or tankmate, should be interesting because my puffer has been by himself for 1 1/2 years due to being extremely aggressive and eating all of his previous tank mates

the new rock and a new scape might unsettle the puffer long enough for the chromis to 'sneak' in. However my gut is on a nice live meal for him once he realizes he has a new 'friend'.

yup i think thats how its going to happen too, im hoping my puffer wont stress too much, although he doesnt like change so i think he's going to be unhappy with the rock for a while as he is very attached to his ornament *seriously he really is* and im sure his belly will be pitch black for a few days so im hoping he will survive the change

oh and i forgot about the other chromis, they all had injuries on them, and one was unknown and one was eaten by the bubble, so im pretty sure their COD was from being bullied by pecking order

Don't give up on chromis because of one bad egg. They really are peaceful little guys, I am surprised that one acted so ruthlessly. It is not common, I can assure you that.

man, i always seem to have bad luck with things, i mean i really do like their color, like he's a pretty blue and active, but i cant have him bully fish so i may give chromis another try or try to find a royal gramma to replace him

I'm sure he is tough enough to pull through, just do it as quick as possible with the least amount of fuss possible and it all be good!

For some reason the chromis story reminds me of the gangland war we had where they all whacked each other until one was left who ended up with it all at his feet and was marched of to the slammer! :p

Oh ya, get him out of there. You don't need Flash getting hurt. That would be a sad day if he went because of a chromis.......:(

If he has done it before, then he'll be able to do it again. Just do it the same way, there is no reason why you shouldn't get the same result. :)
