Puffer Chick's 46 Gallon Bowfront Reef

my fish are mean, i dont think they ever sleep because if one of them were to fall asleep, the other ones would kill it. I have cichlids, and i will never get them again if i ever go fresh water again. They are very pretty but, they are really mean. I got a new fish a week ago, it was a 6 inch long cat fish that the LFS owner promised me would do fine in there with my mean fish because he is spiny, big, and can look out for himself. It was in my tank for 30 minutes, and I went to check on it, and it was missing both eye balls, all that was left were bloody sockets. So I can never get any new fish, because they see any new fish as a food source. Weird huh?

 

their great, they've acted like nothing ever happend, excep that they are enjoying the new aquascape, the buble is even bigger, he is massive, the brain loves his new spot he has expanded even more, ill be doing my weekly water change tomorrow, clean the glass, skimmer and ill post some better pics

oh i also have some major growth on my zoas ive got mulitple new heads on my green and yellow ones and very more heads on the orange and the heads have also gotten bigger so things are doing great

 

i know right! its kind of crazy how well things have been going. i think thats why i panic when something goes wrong like the fish deaths, just because im soo used to things going so smoothly, i mean i have not had one issue with corals And yes this is my first SW tank so i guess i just got lucky and the GHA isint really THAT bad but i hate it, looks ugyly

I like your aqua scape good job.. Now for some advice..

Ive been reading through your thread and the only thing that concerns me is that you have your hands in the tank a little to often. Especially since you say flash has ick signs, your hands on the tank and new aqua scape are just going to add to the stress he is into.

i would try to keep my hands off the tank as much as possible, unless of course you are trying to catch the chromis.. i wish you good luck with that and overall as well .

awww you wanna get rid of the clowns??? I'd take em...if they are nice....since I haven't heard otherwise I'm guessing they are.

Haven't seen any black & white ones around here. Guess I'm gonna have to order....hate waiting and then if it's DOA major and.
