GHA - Pufferchick? I cant see any in the pics?

your corals are a credit to you, they are look very healthy, the tips on that birdsnest
cleary show the new growth and the bubble and brain are both looking great IMO.

if you do have an algae issue, be aware that the birdsnest with its complex structure can be a magnet for algae as its hard to get enough flow, going through that intricate network of arms, and thus its easy for algae to settle and then grow on it.
That MP will be a great asset in this situation , so all Im suggesting is observation and just making you aware of this potential.

I agree with Steve. I don't see any algae. You can't be too obsessive about it!! Some algae is normal.

yea ive got a bit of GHA and some cyano, ill take a few pics of the areas where im having some issues

and thank you so much for the compliment about the corals, really means a lot, so far the corals have been smooth sailing and really easy :D

and the birdsnest has had a a patch of GHA once in a great while, usually its just really small and on one branch, so i just kind of brake off that one branch then no more GHA

lol and may i ask what a MP is?

MP40 or MP20 (maybe I have this wrong?)

I thought that was an Ecotech Vortex power head you have on left side of tank?
they create a really nice wide flow so that help water movement around the whole coral

ohhhhhh hahaha yea yea yea i have the mp20 lol my brain has been seriuosly like dead today

your right  deffiently hear ya about the wide flow i have a huge amount of flow in the tank, i had to move my brain as far away from the vortech as possible.

With such a strong amount of flow in the tank i think it will be hard for me to keep LPS just because of how the brain reacted to being so close to the vortech he never opened and stayed closed the entire time, but loves being at the other end of the tank, but at the same time the bubble was happy anywhere i placed it, i need to try to figure out what corals would tolerate being close to the vortech, i know my zoas dont mind it so i dont know if i should stick with a dominated SPS tank or try some LPS and see how they like the flow?
