    if you know what to look for you can get some amazingly colored sps ;)

    does your monti have polyps or just flesh

    i hope i can find some affordable colorful SPS

    i dont think their polps but it has like bumps all over it, i think thats normal

    and my melanurus went up to the acro again, i really hope he's not going to turn into a coral muncher he's already nipped at it a bit yesterday but i think there was somehting on it that he saw :(

    the wrasse is most likely munching on critters, not the coral... but if your monti is not happy then the flesh will start growing oddly (like over the edges or just in an odd manner)

    ugh i hope so, just makes me worry because he's reef caution and he's started to attack ceriths, im just hoping corals arent next

    and ok, illkeep an eye on the monti

    most wrasses are reef caution because they eat inverts... not because of eating corals! but check your coral for any invaders or bad hitch hikers (red bugs), the wrasse might be munching on them

    The reason the melanurus is reef caution is because they eat shrimp. When I got mine I was told that if the wrasse hasn't been in a tank with shrimp and is introduced to one it will most likely eat it..but the one I have was in a tank with a coral banded shrimp since it was young and I haven't had any problems with the two.

    ill see if i can see any, i havent seen any damage to the coral, i know Wrasscal LOVES to pick at the rocks so hopefully he does see some bad hitchhikers and is eating them, then i will be very proud of him :D

    when i first got Wrasscal i thought my cleaner shrimp was going to be a gonner but he hasnt even tried going after the shrimp which is a good hing :D
