yeah im a little hesitant to say this but i think yours might be a browned out pink one... so next question: what bulbs do you run in your fixture?

2 ATI blue plus, 1 aquablue special and i cant read the other one cause the lights are on right now and its not facing to where i can read it but i think its a UVL or something like that once the daylights go off ill wait for it to cool and turn the bulb around so i can see

i wasnt sure what i wanted so i just got what reefgeek suggested

when i got it at the lfs it was in their large display tank under metal hallides about half way up

well I dont wanna get technical so ill keep it simple... the pink chromoprotein is excited by a combination of red and yellow wavelengths. when you replace the bulbs next time, change one to a Fiji purple!!! my ORA pink montipora is amazing under them ;)

I cant say for 100% but i think that after a few weeks of the red and yellow added your birdsnest will get pink :D
