Yeah I prefer the LFS...NO WAITING! I wish I'd have known the cheap online prices b4 I got my k2 @ the lfs was 38+tax and that was the chaper store...oh well the guy is hecka nice any thing I want if he doesn't carry it will se if he can get and will give me good prices so am happy. Getting LS in the grain size I want for 17 for 20lb bag. He even gave me free RO/DI water when he normally charges cuz I told him another store I've gone to gives it away (the guy who owns it used to work for him...funny small world)

Yup tore it 6 months ago took that long for them to decide to look further into why it wasn't healing and to get the surgery scheduled. Hope it heals fast too, so can be back @ work in 6 weeks instead of 2-3 months!

Yup, not that local but worth the 17 mile drive...I have at least 3 that are within 10 miles but I really like that one. He's also the only one with the Pukani rock that I like.

Yeah 6 months of pain not so much fun and not getting to ride my bike (reg 1 not motor) I like the exercise.

I hope your evo comes on time would be nice to see if it helps the cyano problem...need a fuge...can maybe do in tank 1...make an acrylic box to contain the chaeto or do what i did shove it behind the intake tube for the HOB filter.

yea that deffinetly does not sound like fun

setting up a small fuge is my next step if the adding another PH doesnt help. I just did some cyano cleaning right now to at least make the tank look somewhat decent

 

Is mostly freeway and then back roads..isn't too bad and for the prices is good $3.50/lb LR my fish I wan for $10-13 each so is good...got my mean rainbow shark trded for store credit and paid an extra 3 for my clown.

That's good about getting the tank looking nicer. I may need to scrub some of my new tank's rock has some algae on it (the Fiji rock does)...hate the GHA and cyano...yuck!

Good about the fuge...will be my next step...finding another tank for one because I used my 20 to increase the size of the nano....well have 2 10 gallon tanks now so maybe one of them then the other for a sump. I thonk you could make a HOB fuge for like 50 or so they charge way too much for pre-made ones.

 

It's official!!!!!!!!!!! the wrasse girls will be here tuesday morning i cant wait! soooooooooo excited hopefully they play nice, although i am expecting some aggrssion until they figure out whose who!!!!

 

oh...before I forget I had an idea for a sump...make a tall square one from acrylic or use a 5gallon bucket it'll fit under our tanks in the itty bitty space we have.

lol yea just sucks that i have to work late monday 9-6 normally work 9-3, but im off tuesday!!!! cant wait!!! this will be an extra special shipment for me because i am officially done with stocking with 6 fish with 3 being damsels, and 3 wrasses
