Puffer Chick's 46 Gallon Bowfront Reef

fed the fish tonight both girls ate took them a little bit to notice there was food in the tank but they ate

 

so the first of the fighitng has begun between the two new wrasses, but this was to be expected its not too bad just a little nipping and chasing, maybe its the start of paring up and tyring to figure out whose who, looks like its going to be a little rough, i just feel sorry for blossom so shy

yea they have settled in pretty well im glad blossom is getting a bit better, still staying in a bottom corner but thats ok, still adjusting and at least its right up front so i can see her but paprika goes everywhere, and paprika has started to show dominance towards blossom so who knows that may be a sign of a future pairing

 

Nice video...hope Blossom becomes as active as well. Nice big pretty fishies for your tank.

 

thanks later that evening things had gotten better but paprika was already starting to show dominance so im thinking ill be having the same thing that i had with the clowns, that the soon to be male will get nasty beatings and cower and hide and not really swim much, but then as soon as the decide whose who be fine, although the male does get nipped at by the female every once in a while

everybody is still asleep

 

I'm not positive of this but I thought that wrasses put males higher up in their heirarchial order... If that's the case then your male one will not be bullied

also, your birdsnest is getting massive
