it takes time for them to open.. mine has been with me 5 months but its been getting smaller with time, not that fast but yeah maybe 5-8 less polyps out of the 50+ it had in 5 months. i guess its dying. i kinda knew that would happen but for the most part its healthy.. still grows pretty big when its fully open.

Weird...could leave it and see what happens then maybe moveit back...what conditions was in when you got it (I'm guessing it was out & happy) can reproduce those conditions.

yea im going to leave it now, in the holding tank at the lfs it was really dark and didnt have like any lights, so maybe its just a bit shocked from the lighting change, it looked really healthy though it was all bright and moving all pretty in the flow

i just got done cleaning the tank glass so its all closed from me moving the light it should open again soon just seems like it takes forever for it to open up

thanks it just really sucks loosing two fish that i really liked in the same week and really close to each other

last night i tested my water ammonia and nitrite were 0 nitrate 10 ph 8.2 salanity 1.025

so nothing is wrong with my water, i think flash was just a freak accident and he was just doing what wrasses do, jump. And blossom's was just a bad case of ick.

now im just going to let my tank sit, way to many fish deaths

Letting the tank sit is a good idea. No sense in putting other fish at risk if something isn't right..even if you have no idea what it is. Everyone has a few fish deaths..i went through that rut last year. Before you know it though you will have had the same fish for a long time with no problems.
