cant you just accept the fact that im able to make a carnation grow im tired of having to prove myself to you guys all the time

 

OK then.

 

Dendronephthya do not contain zooxanthellae like your other corals do. In order for a Carnation coral to grow it would need to have it's polyps extended and eat.

 

Well my carnation has grown and it's obvious that it has because that bottom branch is new

 

I think you'rs look likes this one I found, but it it's kinda hard to tell from the pics. What do you think?

 

just got back from work and petsmart i was able to get kent marine phytoplex for the corals and i come home and my male clown died at least he was at the front of the tank so i was able to grab him

 

still different mine has a hot bright purple base with light pink tips

 

So sad your clown didn't make it. Hope the corals like the phyto.

 

thanks it sucks. but at least paprika is all healthy and i can concentrate on getting the chromis out and let the tank sit for a little while. And me too it will be neat to watch the corals eat

 

That's good she's healthy... wish were the mean ol' chromis that died instead....oh well I hope you get the bugger outta there.
