    not for a while :D my c.c is still hurting from the skimmer so it's going to be a while, which sucks since that's the last piece of expensive equipment that i need to get

    yer, I budgeted for $400 on my nano tank and kept it below that, but the lights took up about 60% of the budget!
    Oh, and its just blown out as i've purchased a vortech mp10, one of the first in australia!

    What you looking at getting? MH? T5?

    man that sucks about yours blowing out!

    i'm getting a 4x39W tek light t5 high-ouput light

    and you're lucky about spending only $400 i think once i buy my light i will have spent close to $2,000 on the tank so far

    yup, i never would have imagined that i would have spent that much money in this short amount of time :D good thing i get paid $12 an hour and work about 30 hours a week :D

    I was lucky enough to have the test kits and heater and pump already from a previous tank. But yeah all this stuff is expensive lol, it aint easy to bring the ocean into your home!!

    Nice lights btw!!

    lol some people would think i'm crazy when that i want to bring the ocean to my home when it's only 30 min away from me :D

    And when i purchase my light and pay the c.c off from that i will be redoing my puffers tank, so that will be a new tank build thread :D

    And I don't think my mom has kept track of our tank spendings...some things are better left unsaid ;)

    haha my parents are ok with me buying whatever i want for my tank, so long i can pay my other bills, and that's why i have to wait to buy my light. But i'll stop keeping track on how much i've spent once i get fish in the tank
