    thanks birdsnest was $70 brain and bubble $60. and yea deffiently prefer the slight blue look compared to before. And thankfully never really had an algae issue except for cyano and im getting cyano and i think that's because of the recent deaths which probably caused a small nitrate spike

    from what I read cyano is actually a bacteria not a algae.. if you have high levels of organic matter in tank it will feed off of that and light. cut back on you daylights, do some vacuuming up of cyano, good flow, and feed fish 2-3 times a week only.. its helping me.. but I did order some chemi-clean (cyano remover) just incase I get another outbreak..I read it works.. so I'll see soon.

    didnt know that about the cyano. i deffiently have enough flow so maybe cutting back on how often i feed will help a lot. i usually feed once every but with only two fish maybe i can get away with fewer feedings to help get rid of the cyano, its not really bad but its a few patches on the sand and rocks and i would like to get it gone. let me know how the chemi clean works

    Got the tank ready for the new clam that I'm getting tomorrow.

    I am also posting from my iPhone because my laptop is dead and I don't have a working computer so hopefully my laptop will be up and running tomorrow so I can post pics
