Also just got done feeding the tank, trying my best not to have to spot feed Dott. The vortech came back off of feed mode so food is floating around more and he is catching what floats by him, so hopefully he will get enough to eat by then, i will also be upping my feed from once every other day to three times a day starting tomorrow for the angel. So hopefully he will be able to catch enough floating food without having to be spot fed, he looks hungry right now so the more feedings will probably be better for him as well.

Just be careful to make sure the more frequent feedings are much less then the 1 larger one. I know you had some cyno problems before.

yea ive always kind of had a little bit of cyano but looks like almost all of it's gone, but im worried that nitrates will spike with the more feedings. I tend to overfeed but with feeding only once every other day fish and inverts are hungry enough to eat all of it, its going to be hard to cut down to smaller feedings, but im goinng to have to because almost all of the cyano is gone now.

Nice angel...better look like your avatar since it's a DD one LOL.

People give them a bad rap think just like mantis shrimp and other things that if you feed properly and keep a good balance do just as well as any other critter in a community tank.

He may nip but as long as it doesn't injure things to where they can't recover then let him be...may nip till figures out it's not food then be fine or only be prone to nipping when hungry...otherwise I' haven't seen a problem with my angel except for knocking things off the rocks, not that he's the only one doing that.

Hope he's more on the well behaved side though.
