starting to get bad GHA i'm not going to be looking forward to this. This is the worst that i've had it, so much for little patches

 

did some testing today, nitrite 0, ammonia .25. GHA is starting to get bad on the rocks, i cleaned the glass earlier today since the gha and other 2 algaes were starting to get pretty bad. I'll probably get a blue tuxedo sea urchin either this weekend or next

 

you using tap water like... maybe someone suggested it here to use your tap water since tap water is fine????? (deep sarcasm)

 

nope, no tap water ro/di from lfs lol my lfs guy would kill me if i used tap lol he's very against using tap water as with most people on here lol

 

did you acclimate your lighting to the tank????

 

not really sure about acclimating the light. but i have one of the whites and one of the blues on the same switch so i leave those on for an hour before i turn the other two on. But i plan making it so the blues are on the same switch and the whites are on the same switch. And then an hour before the lights go off i'll turn it back to two lights being on. And the fixtutre is three inches above the the tank.

 

also ur tank is new u are going to have algae blooms but once ur tank is stable they stop .its like three or four stages , also stop stop feeding so much lol feed a lil bit every other day u only have two fish jeez lol
