    I don't think i acclimated the lighting. But i have one blue and one light on the same switch *plan to change it so the blues and whites are all on their own switch* I turn one switch on for an hour, then i have all 4 lights on for a couple hours, then an hour before they go off i turn one switch off. Light fixture is 3 inches above the tank.

    I do have nitrates so the could probably be the main cause

    ok.....when you got your lights did you turn em on full blast.... meaning did you turn em on for a full cycle... meaning all bubls on for 10 hours and onlcy actinics for 12

    lol i only feed a tiny bit :D still trying to get the female to fatten up, she's still underweight but eats very well

    no, i haven't had them on for a full cycle. the longest they are on is for 7 hours, usually less. I mainly run two bulbs most of the time, because i don't think i need all 4 running with no coral right now.

    female clownfish no longer has white stringy fecal, guess that's a good sign :D i just saw her pass some and it looked liked her food, she must have gotten better on her own :d

    Looks great! Remember the GHA bloom OUR tank went through?? :eek: There's no way yours could be worse than that :D Our bloom went away after about a month. Once the tank gets established, it will be absolutely beautiful.

    I love how your thread is like a mimic of ours. Tank with clowns and rocks, nothing else. Lights! Algae. And then probably you'll get more fish, maybe some corals, maybe some more rock, and then in a year it'll almost be unrecognizable from when was first started :)
