And it's more of a huge chunk out of my parents pocket but i still have to pay them back half of it, so a good amount is till out of mine

 

you have a firefish goby correct? what is their temprament like? are they shy or do they swim around or hide on the bottom like other gobies? How many fish do you have in your 46 bow, i was thinking of going with 2 Clownfish, 1 hi fin red banded goby and pistol shrimp pair, 1 green chromis, 1 firefish goby, 1 filamented flasher wrasse, and 1 scooter blenny. What do you think? We have the same size tank and i was told that you can have about 29 inches of fish in a 46 gallon. All 7 of those fish would be 28 inches total and full size.

 

thats too bad about your stand, i have the enclosed stand under my 46 bow, and it fits a 10 gallon sump and my supplies perfectly. i know it would be a pain in the ass, but it might be worth it to buy one of those and change out the stands

 

yea i have the helfrichi firefish. He was very shy in the begging, all he would do was hide in the rocks and i almost never saw him. It took him a month to get used to the tank, and now he is out almost all day, he still doesn't swim much, but he's at least not hiding. Otherwise very easy fish.

Sounds like you will be slightly overstocked with 7 fish but if you have strong enough filteration and or a sump you should be ok. I don't have a sump but powerful filteration and i'm going with a max of 6 fish

I have a sump which makes my water crystal clear, and i am going to go with a very strong CUC:
14 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
30 Empty Hermit Crab Shells
30 Nassarius Vibex
9 Large Nerite Snails
7 Small to Medium Nerite Snails
17 Florida Cerith
50 Dwarf Cerith
DId you add your CUC before you added your fish or after?

 

Sounds like you'll br ok with seven fish then, sounds like a good CUC I've been thinking about adding to mine. And I did fish then CUC

yea he cleans me all the time, as i'm aloways getting him off of my filter sock. I notice he likes cuts, i have a slight cut that's been healing, and no flesh or anything is out but it's not fully healed, and he likes to poke it it, feels really weird, it doesn't really hurt, just a different from when he walks around my hand
