yea im going to the reallyyy good lfs that i have, their a large store and have great prices and tons of fish and corals in stock so im hoping they have what i want

 

oh really! i thought birdsnest needed to be spot fed, guess not, im really hoping i could walk away with birdsnest, brain, and some other nice coral, i have some christmas money which was around $75ish and a $50 bonus, and my sis owes me a xmas present so i'll have her buy me something. I'm probably going to spend a little bit more, but not to much because i dont have that much money, but i get paid on monday.

 

even better, i already have mysis and brine how much do you need to feed the corals? like is there a way that we can tell that its full?

 

ok cool! im really hoping they have a nice brain that i can afford, always been one of my favorite corals, same with the birdsnest

 

finally got around to fixing my lid. I had an open space in the back from where i had the filter and when we put the window screen on the egg crate there was a big open space, i lucked out with my firefish not jumping in that area but i knew i was going to be getting a wrasse tomorrow and they jump, and with them being the new guys figured they would try to so i wanted to get it fixed ASAP. Another thing i changed was i used only one layer of screen door on the top of the eggcrate so it no longer touched the water. So my dad sewed *sp* the window screen to the eggcrate to make it hold.

no longer touching water, it looked like it was causing dead spots and was collecting algaes when i had two layers of the screen door

i got my corals today, lfs didnt have the fish i wanted so i got a brain, a bubble coral and a birdsnest. I'll post pics later tonight
