as far as polyp extension, they always look the same, although once in a while if i look close enough i will see them move in the current.

How far out are they supposed to extend their polyps? i also have a blue leged hermit thats been on my birdsnest and has been "cleaning" it all day, no idea if thats normal or not

 

please excuess my newbiness but what is the blueleg lol? is the dead looking branches that were down by the base? or is it the blue polyps? if its the blue polyps the cover the entire birdsnest except where the dead branches are at the bottom

lmao now that im not having a stupid moment, the blue legged hermit is kind of like all over, he started off at the tips of the branches then worked his way to the middle, earlier in the week i had spotted my emerald crab doing the same
