    I just got a puffer a couple days ago, I have tried to feed him some brine shrimp and some "people" shrimp. But he does not seem intrested.

    What kind of puffer and what was it eating in the store? I've always had good luck with frozen mysis shrimp. Most puffers are not picky about what they eat though. If its a puffer from the sharp nose family (canthigaster) then you will need to supplement with some algae containing foods as well.
